On October 11, 2023, Jiaxing Super Lighting Appliances Co., Ltd. ("Super Lighting") and Current Lighting Solutions, LLC ("Current Lighting"), the globally renowned lighting company, reached a settlement agreement on the patent infringement lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas (Case No. 6:22-CV-00534-ADA). As part of the settlement, the two parties entered a patent license and business cooperation agreement.
The settled patent infringement lawsuit was filed by Super Lighting against Current Lighting on May 24, 2022 in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas.
